I wouldn't doubt it at all. This action by AMD will require Intel to spend $$ to defend themselves that shouldn't be necessary. This will make Intel ummm, aggressive. AMD should be very careful to what they aspire, IMHO.

A counter claim by Intel is not a real possibility in this situation.

What you will see is a general denial by Intel. Intel will admit that it is a Delaware corporation and will deny just about everything else.
