with dumbya, "Failure is not an option"... and neither is admitting any mistakes... so however much the mess in Iraq continues to deteriorate, he can always say that the military wasn't defeated, technically... the Bush apologists and the war-lovers will blame it on Newsweek and lack of "support" for the war... "if we could just get everyone to become cheerleaders for the war, then them dang terrorists would become disillusioned and halt all terrorist activities"... just like Vietnam, the loss there was due to the libs and the media, or so the rhetoric goes
