Isn't split ownership of a compound what partners avoid? Otherwise, if Samyang has a safety/side effect problem with CX-1739, real or perceived, the other partner of CX-1739 has a big problem also.

Varney officially denied he's the CEO of Neurolixis? Who is the mystery CEO? Why would a company hire a CEO and not reveal his name? If its not Varney, why would he co-found a company for a friend, may be violate his employment contract with Cortex, list himself as agent with his home address? Why didnt the mystery CEO do it? Too many reg flags here. Varney was an average scientist and has no ability to be an effective CEO, no one at Merck thought too much of him and didnt try to keep him there.He tried to learn how to be a CEO on the job at Cortex. Selling off pieces of the company to pay his salary, mortgage, while trying to start a competing company? Whatta guy!!
