The shape is a Star Trek emblem, also on the base you can see the emblem of the ship, I am not a Trekkie, however you can see it on the base, that it is the Star Trek Urn. Very clearly marked at NFDA, and advertising this product along with others. Hopefully this helps, have a wonderful day.
Funeralgirl could you give a reason that the Star Trek urn would be displayed next to other Eternal Image products and not be something offered by the company? Also given the fact that it so closely resembled the original urn put out by EI should be a clue that this is an EI product don't you think? Did you think that some other company had copied the design and placed it on the convention floor with the other EI products?? That seems to be quite a stretch.
