What would it say about his image if he dropped being a spokes person? How does a celeb make a "committment" like this to save lives, knowing 6000/yr are killed texting/driving, then drop OPMG meaning, I don't give a rats anymore in the eyes of the public?

I say he is stuck whether he likes it or not.

I say this is a life long committment or he is a phony. It may not be life long with OPMG, but he can't back out of spreading his message.
