I agree. My little theory is that the reason lurkers or quiet posters typically make great MS is because they aren't ego driven. Their personality is not the type that they feel the need to voice their opinion every chance they get or to argue with people who disagree with them. They just want to read the boards, assess the information (positive and negative) and appreciate the ability to get the nonsense off when they see it. But, just my little theory, wdik?

Modding an active board is a lot of work and you don't get paid for it. When the mod squad does arrive on a board, people always want to blame a board mod for the deletions which results in attacks against that mod.

I'd like to see the "my deletions" have "mod squadder" added.

The other problem I have with the current system is some people who report tos violations often lie to an admin and are reporting or posting false information. it's becoming a common trick to make a poster look "off topic" when they're not. An Admin doesn't have the time to read back on the thread to see what the topic was. I'd like to see the ability to challange an admin deletion that was made by using the "report tos violation" button.
