Peg -- politics; the GOP -- thanks to the now-obligatory Republican filibuster/obstruction of anything and everything apart from embodiments of their own radical/asinine demands, not even that, never mind the huge support and the hugely obvious correctness of the point, has been able to get through the Senate -- passed the House before the 2010 election, then (of course) died in the Seante; has been re-introduced in the House, but this House? -- and so it goes, for now anyway -- . . .
