Re: About a third of the counts say in effect, "well Bob said to Jack"...

Which led to specifc publicaly visible results.

And all you need is to get either "Bob" or "Jack" to tell the truth under oath.

It's a civil lawsuit. The Jury is instructed to give a verdict to the side that it deems is most likely the correct one, 51% to 49%. And AMD only has to convince the Jury of the validity of some of the counts, not all of them.

I know about the Solectron extortion, and I'm just an enduser who was negotiating to buy some servers at the time Solectron suddenly refused to ship the server boards it had already designed, developed, tested, and put into production. Do you think they did that because they hate selling their products? All lot of people knew about the Solectron case because it was to be a cornerstone of the Opteron launch.

This case is a done deal, there is no way Intel isn't going to lose it and have to face a Jury's judgement, unless they settle first for a very significant sum.

Regardless, going forward, Intel is immediately going to have to be far, far, less aggressive in its dealings with the industry. If they keep it up, it could turn criminal and people could go to jail - and Intel isn't stupid and they won't let that happen.
