i've seen them first hand in Spain, in the countryside north of Barcelona... it wasn't an eyesore at all, imo... and if they are put in open waters, far enough from the coastline, i just don't get what the big deal is

It's located in US territorial waters. The landowners and the state of MA have no say....legally that is.
