That's wasting the effect, in one flushing........LOL........I had my broker send me the certs for a similar worthless one, where they are still restricted(but clearable), known as NEGS. They were from a spinoff, and after you manage to wait a whole year in restriction, you come to find that the stock has fallen to the .0001 level, AND the TA wants a crazy 100 dollars, just to clear them from restriction. So I found it more useful, to actually frame the certs, and hang them on the wall somewhere in my home. This way, any time you see them, it reminds you of the whole silly scenario, and how you should try your best to not ever repeat the event. Also, anyone visiting your home will probably ask you "What's these things? They look awful fancy", and you can then explain how the whole event, was just a dream gone bad.........
To atrevido76: Simply call your broker, and ask that you want them to send you the certificates. They will remove the shares from your brokerage account, and send you the fancy looking paper certificates. It is a completely free service, that all brokers must provide, when a shareholder makes the request. Heck, my Fidelity brokerage sent me mine via FEDEX, for no charge whatsoever.
