Let's see. I'm only invested now in one stock and that is Generous Electric for the last 1.5 yrs. I have owned GE since the mid 80's and have increase my holdings significantly since. Most recently after 9-11 and when it dropped to $23. I have asked a question on the GE board but there is not much interest. I have also invested in tax free bonds and last year was a very good year with close to 12% appreciation AND no taxes at the state or federal level.

When I decide to get into stocks again I will do my due diligence. I did some on what I consider a POS called MYNG recently and unfortunately decided to pass because I thought it not worthy of a charitable contribution.

Joe, you may wish to discuss something with Matt. My understanding is that as a "Freebie" iHub member, one may post on the stock threads, albeit there is a per diem posting limitation. One of the 'advantages' (depending upon one's perspective) of a paid membership is the ability to make unlimited posts, and make those on so-called premium threads which may be special interest or social in nature.

I'm sure you realize that The Jailhouse is one of those Premium Threads, and that the only "Freebies" who may post here are inmates, with a 3 post per day limit. Of course, the intent is that these limited posts be used to resolve issues with Admin.

In your case, you seem to have resolved your issues with Admin. with a special deal, and no inmates appear to be trying to resolve issues with Admin. Therefore it should be of no consequence to you that some of the gadflies, who have a gift (or curse) for rhyming choose to provide entertainment to the lurking inmates, as well as other voyeurs.

Having a hissy-fit on your part, under the circumstances, seems ill-advised. JMHO.
