I agree...but...I also realize that even when decent people decide to buy in at these prices...the pps never moves up for long...Dilution is the problem...regardless of how many shares someone or a group of Long's buy...Doog spells this out a majority of his WNBD posts...Awareness is needed to counter the dilution rate...but we can't count on Eric to keep his word about that... .0001 is his definition of "massively undervalued"

Shareholder Question: DTC
Uncategorizedby Eric Lehner
.QUESTION
Eric: I am very excited about all the potential sales development as Winning Brands makes its way onto shelves in Duane Reade stores, Sam’s Club , Houston, WalMart Canada and all of the Do IT Best stores. I tried to purchase additional shares this morning – but was unsuccessful due to the DTC situation. Do you have any idea how long it will take to clear up this “chill”. Will you let investors know once it has been taken care of by posting on your Blog.
ANSWER
Thank you for your kind thoughts. The DTC partial chill arises from their desire for a warranty from a member(s), whom they serve, that the shares which the member would like to deposit, are validly issued. This is not a question that arises out of any finding about WNBD, but rather is a form of “good housekeeping” by an organization that handles so many transactions for so many brokers that systemic triggers occur. In our case, this request for confirmation arose from the fact that our O/S had increased by historical norms for the company. It was a precautionary request. That is why the chill is only partial, relating to deposits only. All other aspects of the DTC relationship to the stock is unchanged. Regardless, as a practical matter, even the partial has a domino effect.
We are determining which broker/dealer(s) who are served by the DTC will be willing to provide this confirmation/warranty. There are disincentives for broker/dealers to provide such confirmations (for anybody) in today’s small cap environment. It therefore requires a degree of goodwill on the part of the broker/dealer. We have been determining who will be most willing to take that step for us.
I have been told that this would then permit a resumption of full DTC eligibility. This in turn would restore the TD Ameritrade facilities. It was merely a chain reaction. I understand the urgency and appreciate your patience. In the meanwhile, many online trading accounts are not affected.
Thank you
