How's this? I have more to do than just push my point of view. I have more than one message board, and I have to read them all; I admit I often rush through them unless I see something that really grabs my attention as most of is a re-peat stuff I have read many times as I also belong to many email rings and read at least a hundred email a day and often quite a bit more.
I am trying re-writing five different websites of mine that have been down too long for repair at this time. I have two-sisters that are deadly ill and I spend much time with family and friends because of this. My mother has surgery coming up, and I’m busy running errands for her, and she l lives 30-40 minutes from me, this keep me bust as well.
The wife and I both suffer from disabilities that cause a lot of pain and discomfort and therefore eat up our time as well; as I have explained many times, this is why I can only sit at the desk for short periods of time. I don’t tell you this because I expect any sympathy from you, I don’t need it. I just want you understand that I don’t live on these boards and that as important as these boards are to me, my time for them is limited
I hope this explains why I didn't take the time to open the link in your post, or for that matter many links I come across on these threads, especially youtube links; I don’t just have the time to so. However, The bottom line is this, and you can say all you want to say as I know you most likely will as the last word must always be yours and you appear to think you can't be wrong. You clearly did construct the post to indicate it was a quote. Why? I don't know and I don't care, it's sad too, for iHub has a great Quote Tool. Your post sir:
"Plus, don't forget how we usualy want to significantly reduce our military population whenever they're not puting their tails on the line for us who are back here at home."
What our miltary personnel should do is keep their oath to protect the constitution and refuse to obey orders that violate it.
Military men are just dumb stupid animals to be used as pawns in foreign policy. Henry Kissinger, as quoted in "The Final Days" by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein in chapter 14. Page 194 in the paperback version
When you beat the drums of war, I'd like to know where your empathy is for our sons and daughters who are being used, not to protect us, but for political agendas.
And on and on it goes with the full support of ignorant Americans. And here we go again being setup to attack Iran.
I apologize for the mistake, as it appears you made it in error and did not intend to do so, and maybe I should have taken the time to open the link you posted to further investigate.
However, with that said, I do not care if they were your words or not. I still greatly disagree with the sediments expressed in them. Some of the most humble, intelligent and honorable people I have ever met are those that have and those that do serve in the military. I respect every one of them, I admire them, and I believe the world would be a better place if more were like them. JMO
