Lithium Corporation Finishes Drilling at Salt Wells

Reno, Nevada US, October 13, 2011 /FSC/ - Lithium Corp. (LTUM - OTCBB), (the "Company", or "Lithco") is pleased to announce that it has recently concluded drilling on its Salt Wells Lithium property in Churchill County, Nevada.

During the course of the program the Company probed 31 different sites, drilling 3,437 feet, and obtaining 46 samples from various discrete intervals. Brines were encountered in 23 of the 46 samples taken, with another 4 samples being classified as almost brine, and a further 3 samples being brackish water. The rest of the samples were fresh water. The deepest hole drilled during the program was 155 feet subsurface and sampling depths ranged from 32 to 125 feet subsurface during the program. The average sample depth was approximately 68 feet subsurface. Temperature anomalies were noted during the course of the program which may be indicative of proximity to faults carrying geothermal fluids, a component necessary for the formation of a Silver Peak type lithium-brine deposit.

The drilling at Salt Wells has augmented and reinforced the information obtained through earlier near-surface brine sampling, and Gravity surveying, and should be key in vectoring in towards a subsurface lithium-brine deposit. Brines have now been recovered in this area from depths ranging from the immediate subsurface to 125 feet depth. All sampling was conducted by Kevin Finucane Registered Geologist (Oregon), with samples having been submitted to Inspectorate Corporation's lab in Reno Nevada. As the backlog of samples at labs appears to have tapered off recently the Company expects results in 4 to 5 weeks.

The Company is conducting ongoing Gravity geophysical surveys on several prospects, and is exploring options for drilling its Fish Lake Valley prospect, which has remained unusually wet throughout the year. The Company is also currently exploring or evaluating various other prospects, and expects to add another prospective Lithium-brine property to its portfolio shortly.
