Right, you don't. My argument was that a business which does not currently carry liability insurance sufficient to cover something like alcohol sales isn't going to volunteer for that increased cost just so they can sell relaxation drinks, should similar liability issues arise from the sale of relaxation drinks.

The liability is on the consumer here. Not the maker of the beverage. Or the retailer who sells it for that matter. Like I said the liability is on the consumer! Other wise wisky, rum, wine , and beer bottlers would be out of business. we would not have any adult beverages under your argument.

There is a lot more at play than you are taking into account aside from apparently being unable to grasp the point i was making in the first place. You also have a grossly simplified and idealistically skewed understanding of how liability works.

Alcohol is heavily taxed. The government benefits from alcohol sales, even if they are destructive to society. Relaxation drinks are not taxed the same way. The politicians would receive a greater benefit (in political currency) from banning the sale of the stuff either directly or by supporting their butt buddies in the insurance industry in jacking up liability costs for places that sell it.

Like I said, if you don't care about any of this, then just ignore it. But arguing about something you plainly don't understand isn't going to boost your profits.

you know they sell sleep drinks for 2.89 nationwide in 7/11 it's called nuero sleep. Melatonin is a natural supplement and its in many different drinks of this sort its not new. You're argument is pointless. There is tryptophan in TURKEY does that mean no one can drive on thanksgiving because everyone is tired lol
