Would be a first... I really doubt Intel will do three generations of designs on one process node. It is pretty rare that they actually do two, and three has never been done before. I guess they are getting the first two out within the first year of the process node, but I really doubt they would do another one so close to the ramp of 45nm... I guess there is a first time for everything. Even if whitefield is based on a 65nm Nehalem I think that puts it into 2008. --Alan
