Since Ray has not put our a press release yet, we pretty much need to assume that RAY's definition of spudding is relatively late in the process...after much prep work is done and the drill towards final destination actually starts.

For Guinean's, the process started about Oct. 2. Legally, based on Ray's presumed definition, we'll get a pr sometime this coming week. I find it sort of odd that mainstream media hasn't picked up on this story yet, the Guinea people/nation angle, not the BS stock value end of it.

Can Guinea prosper and avoid the oil curse, WHEN, not if (IMO) HDY finds commericially viable oil/gas??

Right. It says the "drilling rig capable of drilling the well to the authorized total depth."
