I hope I or someone else remembers to bring a digital camera. Were you serious about the magnetic flames? Too funny!

Sounds like, if we have any luck with the agency, we'll get there a day ahead of you but leave about the same time.

An intense "track fix" in mid-February. Can't get over that.

Hey, my SHO is getting worse. Not convinced it's the short/long-runner butterflies anymore. Doesn't feel like it's pulling well on all 6 in upper revs. Was at the Ford dealership yesterday looking for a front license plate mount for it (apparently Ford doesn't make that anymore and it's unique to the 89-90 or 91 SHO) and completely spaced out ordering a shop manual. The Clymer never addresses those butterflies. And I can't find any indication of what normal manifold vacuum is, so my vacuum gauge won't be much help either.

I suspect (hope) it's just a disconnected or cracked/broken vacuum line causing the problems. I think I mentioned there doesn't seem to be as much brake boost in this thing as the wife's 94 has. I'm also coming up completely empty-handed in looking for trackworthy front pads for it. Yet another website that sells performance brake stuff came back as an invalid email address.

She's finally started driving the 94 fulltime and loves it. It's got a few minor problems I've started addressing. First one was that the fuel door wouldn't spring open when you pulled the release. A trip to the junkyard to pull the spring and latch from a GL took care of that one, and an adjustment of the rubber bumpers took care of the same problem with the boot lid.
