#237 RE: ClearlyStocks #227

One absolutely obvious scam is AER Energy Resources (AERN), which has traded a million dollars worth of stock in the first hour of the day, all on the word of FreeInvestmentReport.com, which issued a recommendation that said nothing. Nothing!

"AERN is in the business of engaging in the acquisition, development and production of crude oil properties in North America. Internationally, AERN will evaluate properties for acquisition in Canada. AERN's efforts are focused on natural gas and oil properties which are proven developed producing properties, have proven undeveloped reserves and are economically attractive to AERN but are not strategic to major or exploration-oriented independent oil and gas companies."

Are we missing something or does this not say that the company currently owns nothing! Sounds to us like AERN is "in the process" of conducting a Pump & Dump and trying to convince the public that its air is worth something. That's right, air. Because according to this tout, that's all they have.

"AERN's mission is to grow steadily and become one of the premier independent oil and gas producers in the United States. Assuming the fulfillment of its projected working capital requirements, the Company's financial objective is to achieve on-going revenue per acquired asset after all costs have been recouped."
No kidding? The company's objective is to achieve on-going revenue? Amazing! We would have thought that the company was out to lose money. What an announcement! Well the company must be worth millions then!

"With the oil and gas industry always causing a racket in the market, we feel we've come across a company that has the potential to see huge progress!"
That's great but what do you base that potential on? You haven't said anything!

The reason the touts are unable to say anything concrete about AERN is that there is nothing to say. The company hasn't put out a press release in 8 years! There are, however, 440 million shares outstanding and as of this writing the company's air is now worth in excess of $20 million.

Seriously, what is wrong with people who buy into garbage like this?
