Time will tell, sooner than later, if the "new Torsen" is in fact the Iso-torque. Why would Ford call it the "new Torsen" if it was the original? Why would Ford call it the "new Torsen" if it was a competing technology from someone else? It could very well be the carrot that convinced TG to dump 6 million into Torvec. TG gives a ton of money to charity but I don't think he considers Torvec a charity. He knows a business opportunity when he sees one. Finally, if Ford will be using the Iso-torque, and I fully understand it is still only a possibility, how long can it take before GM and Dodge trucks have to step up to compete with a superior product? Only the insiders, TG for one, know for sure. As they say, follow the money.
