It is actually about $ 46 B difference in Net Receivables owing to LBHI from Affiliates according to Exhibit 8 of the DS - which is more updated than the last Balance Sheet.
Yes - I agree it helps all Subsidiaries since the Debtors have cancelled out about $ 50 B in Receivables owing from Affiliates to LBHI.
However, I don't see how it at all helps the parent Company - LBHI - when the DS shows Intercompany Claims against LBHI of over $ 50 B and the Intercompany Receivables at only about $ 25 B.
