I guess I can sort of answer my own question. The topic of receiveables originated with 2Q earnings. That wouldn't apply to SecureView. The question remains, though, to an extent. How will deferred credit card payments be recorded for accounting purposes?

Personally, I don't care, but I'm curious.

DK, It seems to me that in Direct TV Sales...

there are 2 possiblities... Either the first instalment is debited at the time of order and the second at the time of delivery, provided it occurs at least 4 weeks later, or the first payment is debited at the time of delivery...

Either way, it makes little difference, since, IMO the first instalment substantially exceeds the production cost of "Secureview" and the further payments are just the GRAVY...
