I live a half hour to an hour from maybe a dozen different beaches, this time of year I take 3 and 4 day weekends through December following the striped bass and bluefish run. Leave early in the am and back by nightfall, or fish at night. Nothing yet, takes a while to find the finny creatures but enjoyed this past week, got out to the beaches for the first time this year, enjoyed it immensely despite the lack of fish.
