Cutting tax rates always has increased revenues to the gov't.

Do you have some examples of that statement ?

actually just because A happened does not mean B was the cause. Oh and it's not a fact that cutting taxes increases revenue to the government. Logically that's a non-starter as then let's reduce taxes to zero.

Bush 43 increased taxes and so did Raygun. Bush 44 decreased taxes twice while having two wars costing over $1 trillion and will cost close to three trillion when all is said and done. Passed Medicare part D costing 15-20 billion a year and also a big giveaway to big pharma as we could not negotiate better pricing. He also looked the other way when regulation was needed in the mortgage market and the SEC as regulation with republicans is a dirty word unless it's part of your body. All in all the tax cuts by Bush ripped close to $4 trillion out of the tax revenue and debt increased to close to 12 trillion and when you count 2009 as his it came over $13 trillion.
