Not full-time, just trying to build up my retirement while I stay working.

I don't understand most 'longs' here. When I am long, I still sell the rips and buy the dips. My goal on every stock is to have all free positions - THEN ride them as long as my exit point will allow.

Long doesn't mean 'inactive' to me.
