To see the rather strong correlation which certainly reaches statistical significance your merely have to chart KATX against a major index. Go to Google Finance which allows you to overlay KATX pps chart with the DJI and the relationship is there to view:

Merely enter INDEXDJX:DJI where it says Compare and set to 6 months or YTD. You will see the two patterns are strongly correlated.

In interest of disclosure, please provide the board with a link which supports your statement of no correlation.
