Back ordered work for Cima cabinets to keep the company working for months to come..
Well, that was a total falsehood from the company as is well known now, but I am puzzled as to why that statement keeps coming up. It was a false statement made by Expo Holdings, Inc. in early June 2010...and was only meant to cover the following six weeks...meaning even that particular Expo lie ENDED in July 2010:
"6-2-2010 At this site shareholders and customers alike can become familiar with our new brand Cima, and the top quality products sold under this brand. This is a temporary site, as improvements to the brand image, marketing materials, online store and product development continue. Shareholders should expect revenues under this brand, as a 60-day backlog of orders now exists.
And as at BC, Cima cabinets were being designed for commercial retailers as well as commercial builders not "individuals or single custom home builders" walking in off the street looking to buy a $99 vanity. No mention was ever made of Cima being set up to service only "individual home builders or families". Expo was lying when they implied they were shipping $1.46 million worth of Cima cabinets on an annual basis in August 2010 and increasing that to over $1.8M "in two weeks" for September and implying it would go on at that increased rate forever. But lets look at that lie carefully and see how it applies to this "individual" customer misinformation. So Expo was predicting well over an estimated $10M+ a year (by Sept 2011 at that rate using their multiples) in high end Cima cabinet sales to walk-in traffic to their "showroom" from individual locals in a poverty stricken, moderately populated rural area of NC? With ZERO commercial sales to commercial home builders or retailers? A company that never once earned over $7M in it's entire existence? That is the posted claim? And you are sticking with it?
8-2010 Additionally, the company would like to update shareholders on its progress regarding Cima brand cabinetry. The company is producing, shipping, and billing just in excess of $4,000 per day worth of this product......the company intends to ramp up production of Cima products by 25% in the next two weeks. The company also expects to double current production within 30 days. The company currently has a 90-day plus backlog of orders for Cima brand products.
You may also note this is the LAST update to ever appear anywhere (well OVER a year ago), including all shareholder "updates", with a "backlog" reference in it...which (had it been true, it wasn't) would have expired just before the router broke down in October 2010 NOT in September 2011 as has been incorrectly and continually claimed. As a matter of fact, the LAST mention by Expo of Cima at all was a BS blurb in February 2011 and had no references to "backlogs" or "individuals" as the sole purchasers of Cima.
"2-9-2011 Cima brand cabinetry continues to move forward with significant orders and production ongoing."
Despite what I believe to be abject misinformation and bald-faced lies from Expo Holdings, there is ZERO evidence of a single Cima cabinet sale to anyone anywhere, individual or commercial, other than to a dentist's office done presumably by Glenn Harrs while he was supposed to be engaged in running Expo as acting President and Kearey Builders, Inc. (most decidedly NOT an individual home builder but a commercial corporation) who was "sold" cabinetry for installation in their model home possibly not even by Expo but more likely by BC.
So, in summation:
1) It is FALSE and proven false by the links above that Cima has "backlog" orders or any cabinet work at all or has had a "backlog" of orders since before the router breakdown of 2010. Not for six weeks, not for 90 days, NOT AT ALL. PERIOD. PROVEN. In fact no updates on anything even remotely related to Cima have been released in well over six months.
2) Cima was set up to sell cabinets to commercial interests as was BC in the past. Expo Holdings does indeed sell Cima cabinets cabinets to commercial interests as in fact, the only NAME ever mentioned or associated with any Cima sale was to a corporatation.
3) It is patently FALSE to make statements that Cima cabinets have a "backlog" at this time as there is absolutely ZERO evidence that the company even has the equipment remaining in it's facility to MAKE a Cima cabinet, a supplier willing to extend them credit for the raw MATERIALS to build a Cima cabinet or the operating capital necessary to pay for the labor to produce a Cima cabinet.
So going forward, based on the links above, to leave even the slightest IMPRESSION that there are Cima cabinet orders in existence, let alone "backlogged", shall obviously be a TOTAL MISREPRESENTATION and INTENTIONAL MISLEADING AND FALSE ACT designed to promote EXPH share sales or worse. Cima is, for all practical knowledge and known, solid, linked evidence, producing NOTHING at this time. CASE CLOSED. All IMHO.
