Yup, that should be the consequence. Problem is they have had many years to get their act together and still only have a jury verdict made by a bunch of good ole boys. All the appeals have come to naught, so we have what we have.

I too have nothing but disgust for most public "officials". They are generally incompetent. But, they have the four stars on their uniforms.

i believe that any prosecutor who pushes for a death penalty when it isnt certain, should be executed if that man is proven innocent.

Makes sense to me. Or the governor who refuses to stay the execution. As the governor in this case did a few hours ago.
