OT - Yup, Sam's okay. It was a very sad..
day for a lot of people.
It was a terrible twist of fate. That
fellow was probably in the top 1% of
qualified pilots in America.
And we will never really know what
happened. Not that it matters. It is
not going to bring back the dead.
It's not like an airliner crash where
you need to know what caused it so
you can fix the problem on 1,000 other
airliners.
This was basically a one of a kind
(re-built) racing plane.
