The Omen gave me bit of heebie-jeebies, Jaws made me jump; but Stephan King kept me up at night many of times. Especially Salem's Lot and some of the stories Skeleton Crew.
Two more movies that close to the book as far Stephan King goes is Dream Catcher and Needless Things.
