Speaking of China, I recently heard a columnist (Dana Milbank I think) refer to China as "our next boss"...At the time it was a humorous comment, but it stuck with me and it's not really so far fetched. As Americans continue to support China's economic rise at the expense of American mfg jobs by flocking to WAL-MART for "bargins" and falling for pol's "unions are evil" line, China continues to capture what was once the U.S.A.'s greatest strength - manufacturing. The U.S. will continue to struggle with high unemployment and, believe it or not, some will vote for any pol/pol party that promises to "grow jobs" for the shrinking middle class, but it won't happen - U.S. CONSUMERS HAVE VOTED WITH THEIR WALLETS TO SUPPORT CHINA'S RISE AT THE EXPENSE OF THE U.S.A.!
