Not everyone thinks that silver is undervalued. It seems that most of those who do, are the ones that own interest in it. Not much different than pumpy shareholders that marry stocks.

I had a long, interesting conversation with a metals mining engineer that might have put a few wrinkles in your brow this weekend. He pulls the stuff out of the ground though, so what does he know. Even he thinks it's a lot more hype than substance. Yeah, it's valuable. Be not NEARLY as valuable as other metals. Especially REEs.

As for the USD. I trade it. I buy lunch with it. But never would I hoard it. Dollars are worth a lot more when you exchange it for something else for a little while.
