MNTA: TA 9/14/2011, Nearing $17.50 resistance level

MNTA is nearing the $17.50 resistance level again. It is still moving upwards in a channel and hasn't broken below the lower trendline of the channel. Based on the technicals, I believe that there is a high likelihood of a positive event occurring in the next few weeks to cause MNTA to stay above the $17.50 level for good (and as long as the broader market continues its constructive action).

The short-term charts are still repairing themselves while the long-term charts are in excellent shape. IMO, MNTA's technicals are in their best shape in 5 years.

OT: S&P 500 Bear flag playing out

Below is a chart of the bear flag pattern I pointed out on September 9th (#msg-66989328). Well it's obvious that it is playing out now as the market is breaking below the August lows.
