rookinvestor, welcome to the "not enough time or knowledge to daytrade club", where i've been a member since last december. up until the past two months i've been throwing my money around pretty wildly, chasing stocks that are at the end of their run, and wasting time with stocks that only go sideways.
i've also been burned by a few doing reverse splits, and the result was a 70% loss on my total "investment". since i've "invested" a little more time into t/a, chart school and the message boards, my account has grown by 650%, no lie. when it comes right down to it, the pinkies & bb stocks are more like gambling than investing.
there's no substitute for the experience you can gain by reading the message boards here at i-hub, rook.
