I believe the 1939 analogy is absurd, unless you want to use the Chamberlain appeasement faction as a model for those that want to ignore Saddam.
You see where we stand with North Korea - there is little we can do with them because they have a nuclear capability, but those of the appeasement side want to wait until Saddam has the same capability before doing anything with him. The insanity of that logic is breath taking. We have to do something about Saddam now - if we wait until he has nuclear capability it will be too late.
