5.2: Marco Rubio is the best person I've seen enter politics in decades. If he chose to run at this time I think he'd win in 2012 in a landslide similar to Reagan over Mondale in 1984 (in which Reagan came within 3762 votes in Minn of winning all 50 states). I also have deep respect for Paul Ryan. It is very rare for a politician in Washington to have the courage to tell the truth about the budgetary crisis we're in. No other politician in Washington has a plan to address the crisis. They all just want to kick the can down the road and pawn the problems off onto the next generation. Ryan is the only person in Washington who seems to have the courage to address entitlements, including Medicare. I wouldlove to see a Ryan-Rubio ticket, or a Rubio-Ryan ticket. I'm not sold on Romney or Perry, although I'd vote for either over the hapless teleprompter in chief.
