Much of TS's fraudulent activity happened in Europe years back. The heat was too hot there and he burned many would-be investors. So, in my opinion, TS decided to hit the states to see what he could "do" out here. He hit Nashville and seemed to be based in Florida (kinda close to the Caribbean, eh? LOL) TS was slippery here for a while in the U.S. and the feds had nothing to pin on him, but I feel they already had their eyes on the idiot. Alas, I think that setup from the FBI and SEC was to finally nail TS and Fuentes (an already convicted felon) for good.
I read about the bs in Europe as perpetrated by TS et al. Makes for interesting reading and could possibly be a good book if ever written. A lot of shell companies and about $150M lost by private investors that were wooed out of their money.
I think we have gotten out the rats. I feel it's smooth sailing from here. Sorry, TS, the US government doesn't play. Enjoy your sentence.
