1938ih, it means BORK re-submitted the kryron armor for certification. The body armor that can stop .50 cal AP rounds. (they started over) Now kryron armor has passed the ballistics lab tests at least 2 or 3 times now. But BORK keeps improving the armor and changing the manufacturing process. Therefore the need for the NIJ cert/recert.

Hopefully after this the company will put themselves on a release schedule - recertify improved kryron armor/manufacturing process perhaps once a year.

From what I understand, there was an older formulation of the armor that has passed at Chesapeake (its even stated in an early press release), but the newest one submitted in the process was the best, new and improved formulation/construct to date and differed from prior versions and therefore required to be run through the shoot process, but as KZ says - they political portion, which was the major hangup, is over and it only needs the stand on its own and be shot now. Again, from prior PR, it passed with flying colors in an older form so the newer one should be ever better.

Probably means another 2 month wait for NIJ06 cert to complete.
