Bigworld, Are you familiar with the principle of 'divide and conquer'? That is how a ruling class stays on top in any society. You get the people endlessly squabbling among themselves based on politics, race, gender, age, etc, while the ruling class keep going to the bank. Keep the sheeple squabbling over petty hot button issues instead of joing together against their common enemy -- the ruling elite, which in our case is the banking cartel.

ok, you're a scientist at heart - can you give me any legitimate, rational explanation as to why the US and the world would have been better off had the treasury defaulted on the debt as about 60 nut cases in the house of reps and rick perry thought we should have? if the views of the tea party ever become the majority view, we're in big trouble, not that we aren't already, but much bigger trouble. that's why anyone with a sound mind rejects these fanatics out of hand.
