Of all the pharma stocks out there, none has been steady enough to stay on my core stocks 'A list'. Novo Nordisk was the closest, but I still have them on the B list. Gilead was humming along well for a number of years, but also fell off the list.
In the healthcare sector I have 7 long term stocks, but none are pharmas -

CR Bard (BCR)

Express Scripts (ESRX)

Neogen (NEOG)

Sigma Aldrich (SIAL)

Stericycle (SRCL)

Yeah...but you gotta look at the positive. Owning bio stocks can keep you humble. ;D

No, owning bio-tech stocks keeps you poor, pissed, sad, desperate, anxious, and last but foremost....second guessing. Making money and not acting like Charlie Sheen is the definition of humble!
