Just say Patrick is famous/infamous on the Zeev's stocks thread and other stock threads, he never has anything to say , he just attacks .
He wears this as his "badge of honor", it is his pride to be relentlessly caustic and putting down.
He has been at this game i'd estimate for 5 years.
