I get the illiquidity but we have had people spend 20K, 10k, etc. to get some of this stuff. Sort of hard to understand how/why any random person/event could influence a person or people for a few days to buy.
It may be another of those quirks that goes nowhere, but it is an anomaly not answered by its an anomaly and it is thinly traded.
