HC: They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. The best jobs program would be to freeze individual tax rates for 10 years, significantly lower and simplified corporate tax rates with fewer deductions, repealing Obamacare and eliminating costly rules and regulations, and finally incentivising the repatriation of profits and manufacturing capacity. Take these steps and the employment picture would pick up pretty quickly. Do more borrow and spend infrastructure pork and we'll get what we've gotten so far....no improvement in our employment numbers or our nation's fiscal situation. I hope the Republicans have enough spine to resist the siren call of more and more government spending, which does not work if the money you're spending is borrowed.
