I personally never invested in GURE in the last few months other than maybe for a very short term trade like I tried this time before the 10q came out.
Regarding AERL. It's my understanding that they operate 3 VIP gaming rooms in different big casinos in Macao. In your view what is funky about that?
Also consider that they will pay out between 10 and 12 million USD in divis for 2011. It's not that they are one of the companies who pay a cent or 2 in divi just to pay a divi. That's serious money in my book. Now if that doesn't say anything about them then maybe the fact that the chairman and one other director agreed to convert a 60 million loan into a 3 year term loan convertible into common shares at 20 bucks per share.
I'm not sure what else they could do to show loyalty to their shareholders. Oh right, they increased their incentive net income target for 2011 (and 2012 I think) for which they will get free shares.
Just to be clear I have basically no position in the stock at the moment because I sold 98% of my position between 9 and 10.50 lately. Not that somebody thinks I will pump my position. This above is all facts. For me there is zero doubt that they will pay the whole divi for 2011. The first tranche will be paid in about 10 days.
