Well that would be a start. Somewhere in the back of my mind I keep hoping that this whole braodband mess will eventually mean that I can turn on my TV and actually see what is reported by various parties in various places. Combine that with a little language translation program which is not a cultural translation and just let the people of the world see what they think of each other. I think that would help. I mean it is like this whole Arab history broadcast over Ramadan. Ok so it is based on the Protecals but I would like to be able to see that for my self. Is it really any more skewed than the stereotypes depicted in our culture? I heard the other day that in the new lord of the rings movie the bad guys wear turbans.
