You make a legitimate point on the Marriotts. Doug and Phil are brothers, yet only cousins to Richard and J.W. Doug is an Advisor to the company and Phil is 3rd man in charge (head of marketing). Doug brought Phil in, obviously, being brothers, this is expected. That was 3 months ago and the question, how close are the cousins REALLY? Well last week answered this question. Richard owns Host. Host is now writing a contract with TiVUS and will rely on their product in their hotels to make money and satisfy guests. Richard liked it so much he agreed to sign for it 4 months early. Richard is now part of TiVUS regardless of cousinly love/hatred. Richard is now in business with TiVUS, J.W. is Richards brother... If little Doug brough big Phil in, now the question we should be asking is can little Richard bring big J.W. in.
