I said nothing about a dump. It was clearly a "pump", aka, an attempt to get the stock price higher.
The COMPANY did NOT pay for it. A "third party" did.
A third party would ONLY pay for promotion to get the stock price higher. They certainly wouldn't do that if they were buying shares.
I also didn't say management shouldn't participate. However, if the company is under orders not to pay for PR, then it's just as likely those orders include "don't issue PRs that touch on a small portion of what should be contained in the filings you promised your shareholders and the SEC ages ago". Paying for the promotion probably isn't the biggest sticking point.
It could be that someone just wanted to donate $2,000 to help the company too, but I'm going to go with the most likely explanation. Someone with a bunch of shares to sell paid the site to post an interview in the hopes that it would increase the PPS and bring in buyers, so they could sell.
