SF...I went to 3 of the WS games at Fenway in '68 (and can still not forgive Bob Gibson!). My sympathies, dude. One day!

Sox Fan: It's ok, really it is. The World Series? Feh. The Bosox play competitive ball, and that's all I want to see; well played games. And oh! the history and the characters we've had: Dick ,"Dr. Strangeglove" Stuart who received a standing ovation when he bent over and picked up a hot-dog wrapper without bobbling it; Bill Lee who won 17 games three years in a row and was sent packing because he called manager Don Zimmer a "gerbil" ,( he did look like a gerbil!) Yaz, Ted,
Jose, (I forget his last name) in center field who had No arm throwing out Ken Berry who tagged up from third and saved the season. George Scott, a master around the bag. And Pedro every time he goes out to pitch; best pitcher I've ever seen. Oh the memories.

I remember seeing my one and only major game back in 56 and Ted Williams hitting a home run.
