shown below since 2005 for the SPX weekly closes chart

* SPX $1022 to $1064 is a must-hold price zone for the future weekly closes, if the potential is going to remain alive for a basing of price behavior with an upside resolution for the future price action ... one idea of several

holding above SPX $1142 by daily closes and by weekly closes is a constructive aspect for a potential bullish resolution to the current consolidation by price action (as of August 12, 2011)
