how much it matters is debateable, the point is - is that he's still making comments about an end of the day paint, when that trade simply corrected a downward paint of roughly the same amount from earlier.
Kind of understand what you're saying but I this it's always a good feeling coming out of the day being green regardless of how you got there. If you can paint everyday for green what does that get you? Painting down is what doesn't make sense unless you are a trader with a numbers of share but want more and are to cheap to buy at present price. So you paint downward for a week or two at end of day selling a few of your shares to get to your optimal price range. Not saying that is what's happening but that's the only reason why I can see someone putting in a 10-50 dollar sell order at the end of every day.
